Pet Sitting Services & Rates

Breakdown of a visit will be:  basic pet care including potty breaks (letting dog out to back yard), feeding, giving fresh water, cleaning food and water dishes, scooping litter boxes, alternate lights, collect newspapers, mail and packages.  I also give your pets some quality time with play, exercise and most of all, love and affection!  Also included as needed, watering plants (if you have an extraordinary number of plants a nominal fee will be charged), take in and put out trash bins.  Some medication administrations is included free (giving of pills, liquid, or ointments). Insulin injections and Sub-Q fluids will be administered for additional fee--just inquire.

Dog Walking

$25 (maximum 2 well-behaved dogs that can be walked together by one person), each walk up to 20 minutes.  Additional time may be purchased at a pro-rated charge.  Dogs must be licensed and a current rabies vaccination required.

Pet Sitting

$25 for 30 minute visit

$30 for 45 minute visit

$35 for 60 minute visit

Up to three pets included (one tank of fish is equal to one pet); then $5 each additional pet (will discuss).  


Visits more than once a day may be purchased up to 3 times a day.

Overnight Visits

Overnight Fees start at $100 per night.

 

Overnight visits are available, though limited.  Visits are usually timed from 7 pm to 7 am--with some flexibility allowed.  I stay at the client's home and care for the pets as needed.  Many pets may exhibit anxiety when their humans are away so often times an overnight stay will help the pets relax more.

House Sitting

Some of my clients need a house sitter to check in, pick up mail and newspapers, put out trash bins, do some light watering of indoor and or outdoor plants.  Put out bird feeders including for hummingbirds and suet in wintertime for migrating birds and even feeding pond fish and checking the swimming pool.

Pet Taxi

This encompasses taking your pet to the vet, groomer, or other such appointments.  $25.00.  Maximum 30 minutes from time of pick up to drop off round trip.  $10.00 extra if I need to return later in day to pick up pet and return him/her home.  Any additional time required will be $7.00 for each 15 minutes.  I can handle up to Golden Retriever size dogs.

Medicating & SubQ Fluids

I have experience with giving medications (pills, liquid, creams) as well as insulin injections and administering SubQ Fluids.  I can offer these services as part of an actual petsit visit or if you need assistance with just the medications I can make appointments to come to you to administer them.  Minimum charge of $25 - we can discuss your needs.
